Beatles Crime Busters?

The author B.F. Henry of the Washinton Post wrote the only good thing about the
beatles 1963 Ed sullivan show was the fact that not a single hub cap was stolen
in America, an obviously attempt at sarcasm. This "joke" led many to believe
the crime rate had actually dropped during their performance, including
newsweek magazine who published the quote out of context. George Harrison
himself seemed under the impression the report was true and claimed that
while they performed not a single reported crime occured or at least very few.
The truth is crime statistics are not done on an hourly basis making the claim
,although possible, difficult to corroborate.
